Pi-hole making my internet break

I tried setting up my pi to block ads on my home network

Actual Behaviour:

Ads are not being blocked and whenever I switch my routers DNS to my pi-hole every device on my internet loses connection.

Are you using a VPN?

Try with the VPN disabled.
