I bought a Pi-hole from Pi-supply https://uk.pi-supply.com/products/pi-hole-kit-network-wide-ad-blocker and I cannot get it to work with my network. Some background information, I have a Netgear D7000v2 and a Airport Extreme. Should I plug the Pi-hole in the router or the airport extreme? Secondly, once I attached the Pi-hole to the router or the airport extreme, it refuses to connect to the internet for some reason. It does not appear as an attached device in netgears admin panel unlike my printers, computers alexa etc... Running the command pihole -r
in terminal just ends with some sort of cache message. I don't know what to do. I thought it should be relatively plug and play! No ip showing up, no access to internet, the device isn't working.
what is in the /etc/dhcpcd.conf
file for the end section talking about static IP. does it match how your network is setup?
