Pi-hole conditional forwarding with MikroTik Router

Please follow the below template, it will help us to help you!

Expected Behaviour:

I have set the MikroTik IP in the Pi-hole as the IP of the router in the conditional forwarding settings
I have set the domain to the domain I set in the DHCP setup in the Mikrotik
I am expecting to see the hostnames of the devices and not the IPs on the stats

Actual Behaviour:

I am still seeing the IPs and not the stats.

Debug Token:

https://tricorder.pi-hole.net/levollv93y!

Not all routers will return the name of the client with the IP. If this is the case, as appears to be with your router, then you have two options:

  1. Map the IP to hostnames in file /etc/hosts on the Pi
  2. Use the Pi-Hole as the DHCP server.
