Pi-hole causing internal sites to run slow

Expected Behaviour:

internal Homepage to load quickly

Actual Behaviour:

webpage loads Very slow, running journalctl gives hundreds of these types of errors for each app on the page:

Other Info:

Pihole is installed in docker via portainer, the apps that have issues are also installed on the same server via portainer. i have, somehow fixed this before by either a server reset or some combination of resets, though if i do another server reset/backup where all services stop the issue returns.

I might have found the issue, this seems to make this run better:

There is an even easier solution that worked for me (and solved another problem too): In your docker-compose.yml change ports: - 53:53/tcp - 53:53/udp to this ports: - 192.168.X.X:53:53/tcp - 192.168.X.X:53:53/udp Replace the X with the IP of the host where your Pi-Hole is running. Glad I was able to help! I had a very similar issue with my Nextcloud (the „other issue“ I have been talking about) and binding to a specific IP solved it.
