Password again after update

Please follow the below template, it will help us to help you!

If you are Experiencing issues with a Pi-hole install that has non-standard elements (e.g you are using nginx instead of lighttpd, or there is some other aspect of your install that is customised) - please use the Community Help category.

v6 installed over last v5 on a RPI 2B, added Unbound, nothing more.

Expected Behaviour:

[Replace this text with what you think should be happening. Please include as much detail as possible including, but not limited to:
-operating system
-hardware]

Once the http://pi-hole/admin/ password was deleted (blank) it should not re-disappear

Actual Behaviour:

[replace this text with what is actually happening]
after PH update the password request again popped up.

I very recent change in the installer is forcing the password creation. This is already being fixed, but for now you can remove the password with pihole setpassword and hit Enter twice, to set an empty password.

Thanks, I did it already.
But I also wanted to mention that to avoid the new PW settings after each update.

Cheers

This was already fixed in the most recent update.

Hello there.
I just upgraded to the newest FTL Version (from 6.0.2 to 6.0.3) and I experienced the same behavior.
I removed my password but the update set up again a random password:

[✓] Done.
  [i] Web Interface password: iccRvtSG
[i] This can be changed using 'pihole setpassword'

[i] The install log is located at: /etc/pihole/install.log
  [✓] Update complete!

Core version is v6.0.4 (Latest: v6.0.4)
Web version is v6.0.1 (Latest: v6.0.1)
FTL version is v6.0.3 (Latest: v6.0.3)

Should be fixed in the latest release.
Let's see on the next
