First let me start with a compliment.
In a post the other day I was wondering about the hosts files.
There were quite a few obsolete links in it and I was wondering if they were still maintained.
I checked StevenBlack's a few days ago and yes it is.

Coming to my question.
Adblocking, PiHole is performing quite well.
The picture with 2 times CNN upper left is Edge, upper right is Chrome, both on W10 are without ads (not on the picture but believe me) and the tablet of course is Safari on the iPad.
However in the Google News feed on my Android phone as well as on the iPad advertising is still peeping through.
That is to say; on the Android device in first instance ads are blocked but when I tap on anything like in the picture below the 'x close' then suddenly the ads are not filtered out anymore.
How come Google newsfeed and Safari are able to dodge the PiHole filtering.
