Operating temperature

Problem with Beta 5.0:
I haven't seen any issues or problems but the temperature seems 15-20 degrees C higher than the stable branch. It is currently steady at 60.1 deg C. Since this is so new I haven't been able to locate any sort of benchmarks. I am using an RPi 3 in an aluminum case with no fan. Anyone else seeing similar temperatures?

I have not seen this difference. With a pair of Pi-3B+, each in a plastic case and sitting next to each other, one runs V4.x, the other V5.0. The one currently running V5.0 has always run about 5C hotter than the one next to it, and after the update to V5.0 it is at 58C and the Pi running 4.x is at 52C.

Can you check uptime for the load on the system?
