Hi,
i have found an Problem with the newest Norton 360 v24.x and StevenBlacks Blocklist (Standard Pihole Blocklist)
StevenBlack´s Blocklist has an entry with the Domain ncc.avast.com According to Avast, this domain is just a network connection check.
The problem is if this domain "ncc.avast.com" is active in the blocklist of Stevenblack, Norton LiveUpdate and the Software Update feature no longer work correctly. You always get the error message “You are offline” or "Unable to connect to Liveupdate".
I've already reported the problem to Stevenblack on Github, but he himself thinks it's due to Norton.
So this is for all Users who use Norton 360 v24.x
I have make an exception for this Domain in Pihole.
