No internet when pointing to pihole

My setup is: modem (comcast) --> google wifi --> fedora laptop running pihole

Google wifi subnet is 192.168.86.0/24

My Mac Mini is connected to the google wifi. I can ssh to the Fedora laptop and I am running Grafana and Cockpit on it. Pihole is installed not in container. It used to work in the container but I disabled it couple of months ago. I reinstalled it using the curl script recently, and for the life of me, can't get it working. Pointing my Mac Mini to use address of the Fedora as the DNS (192.168.86.59) does not work.

I feel like something simple is preventing it from working but I can't figure it out. I checked the firewall, and even went as far as disabling it just to troubleshoot and no luck.

Forgot to mention that laptop is hard wired to Google Wifi and has a static IP address of 192.168.86.59. It's /etc/resolv.conf is pointing to 1.1.1.1
