No internet connection after updating pihole

Very new to using a raspberry pi and pihole, had it working on the previous version, but have tried a lot of things after updating as after updating, I have no internet connection in my house anymore. changed nameserver to 9.9.9.9 with sudo nano /etc/resolv.conf^C to atleast get an internetconnection on my pi itself.

Anyone see the issue? please try to explain what to do stepwise in easy language, as I explained, very new in this and I need to google a lot of terms.

Your Pi-hole shows no upstream DNS servers configured for whatever reason. Can you access your Pi-hole admin interface? If so, go to Settings > DNS, select eg Cloudflare and Save & Apply. Does that get you back up and running?
