No clients in V5

Just upgraded to 5.0 and things went smoothly, as well. Under known clients I have “0” or can select custom, but nothing shows in the client list.

I installed pi-hole for the first time and seem to be having the same problem.

Any ideas what to do to fix this issue? I'm hesitant to start from scratch.

Sorry we missed your post and debug from two weeks ago. Looks like you have a corrupted gravity database. Run the following command to fix it:

pihole -g -r

Thank you for the response. I ran pihole -g -r and still have the same results. If I add a custom client I get a message saying it was successfully created, but never shows in the client list. Just says "Loading..."

My issue was totally different from yours. Well, we had the same issue, different cause. I had a customized theme on my older PiHole installation and it was causing issues with the update.

[✓] IPv4 address(es) bound to the tun0 interface:
10.8.0.1/24 does not match the IP found in /etc/pihole/setupVars.conf

based on that make sure the interface and IP are correct this can be accomplished with pihole-r and selecting reconfigure be aware this basically will reset things back to fresh

Thanks for the suggestion. Ran pihole-r and reconfigured, now shows eth0 vice tun0. Still doesn’t show anything in clients or network, but clients are actively using pihole and all expected ads are being blocked.

I managed to resolve this issue by using pihole as my DHCP server.

Unfortunately I am unable to use Pi-hole as my DHCP server until I can get the groups working. I will try a clean install on another card and see if it works that way.
