Netbootxyz with pihole

Hello, can someone help me setup netbootxyz, I've used this link: Create Netboot.XYZ server to Install Distros Over Network , but doesn't seem to work

Your link provided a detail step-by-step. Not sure if anyone here can do better. Have you asked for help from the author?

no, I have dhcp setup on pihole clients are connecting to the server

That wouldn't stop you from contacting the author of that script, would it?

As you try to apply a third-party guide, I agree that you should ask that guide's creators.
They are in the best position to answer your questions, and in case their guide needs to be corrected or improved, they are the ones who should be alerted, as they are the only ones that can correct or improve their guide.

I have contacted them, but can someone guide me on here on how to set it up the proper way

Maybe you can wait to see if some user installed Pi-hole in netbootxyz, but I don't think there are many users running it.

@jhmc93 the guide isn't very complete and makes confusing remarks in my humble opinion. It works, but explains very little and leaves some guess work.

First make sure you edit the /etc/dnsmasq.d/07-pxe.conf file and replace 192.168.1.YOURSERVER with the appropriate IP address of the host running netboot.xyz. If this is running in Docker, it would be the IP address of the host running Docker, not the IP address assigned to the container. Just sayin' .

Next, go into Pihole WebGUI, and goto Settings in the left menu, then choose All Settings, and enable top right slider to All Settings (it will show green).

Then on the Horizontal TAB bar, open Miscellaneous. Look down to where this is:

Make sure it is Enabled. Without it, it will not load your new file 07-pxe.conf you placed in /etc/dnsmasq.d.
