Hi I need help to setup PiHole DNS on my wifi router. My router is getting DNS from ISP. I am afraid if i change this i will not have internet. Where i keep DNS provided my ISP.
@umefarooq If your router is configured as a DHCP client on the WAN side, it will continue to get the ISP's DNS server addresses from them. There shouldn't be any configuration changes for this. Where you would configure the router to use your Pi-hole would be for local network DNS.
yes i want to use pi hole for my home local network so what is best solution for this?
@umefarooq The "best" solution is to configure your local network router to use your Pi-hole as the DNS "server" for your local network clients. This should be a configuration setting on your router to allow this.
