My IP address won't update

Please follow the below template, it will help us to help you!

Expected Behaviour:

My PiHole won't set an ip of 192.168.1.2

Actual Behaviour:

PiHole was at address 192.168.1.6 I changed it to 192.168.1.2 now it won't change to 192.168.1.2

Debug Token:

p0z10rmyrl

I updated PiHole to 3.3 and had to apply the dnsmasq update to allow it to work with my setup. Before I got it to work I used a headless install version 3.1.4 or 3.1.2 something like that in uninstalled and when with version 3.3 with the dnsmasq fix and now I long in to the web interface with 192.168.1.2 instead of 192.168.1.6 I'm so confused. Do I have 2 ip addresses??? I'm fairly decent with networking and thought this to be impossible with just wlan0. Pic show as proof. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Also I believe my subnet mask was changed by my isp to 255.255.240.0. I manually set it back to 255.255.255.0 now my router is having some sort of ip conflict

pihole -r will let you reconfigure your device with a different IP address.

I've used that command a few times already and it'll change my IP address but the web interface answers on 192.168.1.2 always... I don't understand

Try sudo nano /etc/pihole/setupVars.conf
You can edit IPV4_ADDRESS=192.168.1.2 and then restart. The correct IP Adress will be shown in "Network Information"

Ok I think I may have it however where is it getting the ipv6 address of fe80::a0db:88ed:9518:4e67 says it does not match the address found in /etc/pihole/setupVars.conf but the IP address of 2605:a000:1108:40ca:6d0d:f568:b28b:5df is green and found in /etc/pihole/setupVars.conf

Most computers have more than one IPv6 address. As long as it's green, you should be fine.

I have one green and one red not sure why though
