Using Pi-hole as my DHCP server with static IP leases. Have a few devices where I frequently switch between a wired and wireless connection.
It would be nice if I could somehow combine the network interfaces so they appear as one device in the query logs.
Currently I have to aggregate data for 2 different host names.
In your Custom DNS settings (or in the Pi hosts file), map both of the IP's for the client to the same client name. Each of the IP's will show up as the same client name, and you can filter the query log accordingly.
