Is Pi-hole blocking the netBIOS name resolution?

I have installed Pi-hole as a DNS and DHCP server on my network and everything is working perfectly. However, now I cannot connect to the computers / servers on my network unless I add the domain to the computer / server name. For example: myserver.mydomain.

This is quite annoying for me, since I have countless documents linked to the netBIOS names of my servers and I would have to modify them all to add the domain.

I have tried "none" in the DHCP domain settings, but this is not working. The computers apparently do not show the domain, however I still need to add the domain to communicate with them.

Does anyone know if Pi-hole is blocking netBIOS name resolution, why it is doing it, and how can I avoid it?

Thanks!

It is not. Pi-hole is unable to resolve the domain name with your domain appended. Please provide some example queries, forwards and replies from /var/log/pihole.log.
