Internet crashes when refer Pi-hole DNS server in network interface

Expected Behaviour:

Installed Pi-hole in ubuntu system, everything seems working fine, made a set up using unbound, pi hole is reaching its DNS server, no conflicts etc. But when setting Pi-hole DNS server in my network interface internet crashes as it cant reach DNS server. Also I cant set provided IP address of Pi-hole DNS server in my router manually, as it shows error "Public IP should not be used"
-Pi-hole installed in Ubuntu droplet
-Router technicolor

Actual Behaviour:

When setting in network interface Pi-hole DNS server, internet crashes, also can not change DNS server in the router as it shows eror "Public IP should not be used". I am new to all this stuff so please dont judge me. Thanks !

You configured an open resolver, meaning the whole internet can use your Pi-hole! That makes it easy for attackers to use your device in an DNS amplification attack.
https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/ddos/dns-amplification-ddos-attack/

Running open resolvers is not supported by Pi-hole!

Are you runing Pi-hole in your home network or on someone's server? It got a public address at 167.XXX and I can also reach your admin interface.

Take that device down!

After doing so, we can go through the setup step-by-step.

Okay, now I am sorry about that.

I destroyed the server and Pi-hole is deleted. Everything were running on digitalocean server.

I do not understand where I made a mistake, I did everything as in this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnFtWsZ8IP0&t=934s

Well, it is perfectly right about this!

I'd suggest using a Raspberry Pi (or whatever else spare computer you have) or even a virtual machine to run the Pi-hole in the secure environment of your local home network.

There everything should work as expected.

Good it didn't work. It made you come here and someone told you why this shouldn't be done. It is easy to make such a mistake, you shouldn't be worried about this. The error has been fixed now

We're here for you for your next steps. I'd recommend buying a NanoPi board if you don't already have one. Check out http://nanopi.io

I can recommend the NanoPi NEO, maybe also a ZeroPi. They'll give you enough power for Pi-hole and, at $9.99, your Digitalocean server rent would quickly have grown higher than what the entire device costs!

Thank you for suggestions.

Yesterday I bought raspberry Pi 4, so I managed to set up everything successfully. I have only one problem Pi-hole listens only one network client, and others are not managed, but I saw quite a few topics about this problem, so I think I will manage to solve it by my self.

Thank you again and I think we can close this post
