huge increase in active clients

Good afternoon. On my VPS server, I use the Marzban+Pi-hole combination. After installing Pi-hole, I noticed a huge increase in active users; within 15-20 minutes, the number of active users reaches 10-15 thousand. This causes the admin panel's main page to freeze when trying to render the user graph for the last 24 hours, and after some time, Pi-hole disconnects. I want to use the IP address of my VPS server on several remote routers as DNS to block ads on devices where VPN services cannot be used. How can I resolve the issue of the rapid increase in active users while still using VPN+DNS and DNS on different devices and networks?

Your debug log shows your Pi-hole is receiving traffic from public IPs.

You are running your Pi-hole as a publicly available open resolver.

Open resolvers pose a potential threat for all Internet users, e.g. by serving as a multiplier in a DNS Amplification attack .

The Pi-hole team strongly discourages Pi-hole’s usage as an open resolver, and we won't provide support in that case.

If you want to use Pi-hole outside your local network, use a VPN.
