Hello,
A while back, I took part in the 5.0 beta. To get there, I used the following commands:
echo "release/v5.0" | sudo tee /etc/pihole/ftlbranch
pihole checkout core release/v5.0
pihole checkout web release/v5.0
Now that 5.0 is released I'd like to switch back to the release branch. How do I do that? Thanks in advance.
PS: "pihole -up" shows me this related warning:
Warning: You are using FTL from a custom branch (release/v5.0) and might be missing future releases.

Ah, I missed that. I read that release news in the blog:
https://pi-hole.net/2020/05/10/pi-hole-v5-0-is-here/
That info is missing there. But as it states in the comment you mentioned:
(...) If you have been running the 5.0 beta release, run pihole checkout master
to move from the beta to the master branch.
.. that works. Thanks!

At the bottom of the release announcement:
To update to this new version from version 4.x, run pihole -up
. If you have been running the 5.0 beta release, run pihole checkout master
to move from the beta to the master branch.

You mean at the bottom of that blog article? This article:
https://pi-hole.net/2020/05/10/pi-hole-v5-0-is-here/
For me, the last text of that article is:
As there are also changes to the web interface in this version, you may need to clear your browser cache to ensure you can see the new changes. Usually CTRL+F5
will do the trick
But no worries. As @jrschat pointed me to the discourse URL where it does have that addition for me.
