How to have my first modem/router listen to pihole which is currently connected to my second router?

Hi everyone, total noob here.

Here is my simple network setup:

  1. First router on ground floor(D-Link DIR-850L): 192.168.0.1
  2. Second router on second floor(TP-Link Archer C6): 192.168.1.1, (192.168.0.106 on the first router)
  3. Pihole: 192.168.1.174

The second router is connected to the first router using powerline adapter. Is it possible to connect pihole to my first router so that devices on first router can use pihole as well?

Technically, yes.

It would depend on your routers and clients configuration (and on your preferences, to an extent) whether that would produce the results you'd expect.

Can you access devices in your router#1 192.168.0.0/24 network from a router#2 192.168.1.0/24 device?
