Hi Guys,
I changed pihole admin interface path recently from the default /var/www/html/admin/ to /var/www/pihole/admin/
now I am experiencing that I am not able to update pihole because of this change.
how could I change this path for the right one? it seems it is hardcoded somewhere in pihole configs but I haven't find it so far 
okay guys, it was tricky a bit but I have solved it.
solution:
after changing the 'webroot' value for /var/www/pihole in /etc/.pihole/automated\ install/basic-install.sh I am finally able to update my pihole.
the only caveat is that right after the sucessfully upgrade this value changed back to the original value. it seems that upgrade process has overwritten it automatically
