How do i see which process is performing the DNS query?

Not really a pi-hole issue, so please move if inappropriate.

I have one host that is querying every minute a hostname that previously was on my network, but is not anymore. I want to stop these DNS queries, but i am struggling to find the process that is performing those queries.
How do i find out which Linux (Ubuntu) process is sending DNS queries to my DNS server (pi-hole)?
