How do I add a whitelist.txt?

Hello,

I have tried researching this issue, and I was wondering how do I add a whitelist.txt to my pi-hole? I saw that one person had a tutorial on on adding their specific white list, but I cant find a general guide on adding white lists.

You can configure whitelisted domains either through Pi-hole's web interface (http://pi.hole/admin) or via the CLI, e.g.

pihole -w whitelisteddomain.com

This will create a /etc/pihole/whitelist.txt file for you. However, there is no need to manually edit the file as there are many convenient functions for doing this. Note that you'll have to reload pihole-FTL after manually editing the file if you still prefer this. The scripts do this automatically for you.
