Is it possible to block the possibility of connecting devices with dns google in pihole?
I know you can do it in the router. But is it also in the pihole?
You can configure the upstream DNS server to any valid DNS server though it's configuration page from the UI: Settings -> DNS
I only use dns cloudflare but some android applications connect to 8.8.8.8, I want them to not be able to do this.
I know that regex will not block ip address so maybe another way?
The applications that use 8.8.8.8 will never query the Pi-hole so there is nothing that you can do on the Pi-hole for this. You have to use traffic shaping or a firewalls and that is a router function.
