Can someone tell me how to solve this? Every time I log in I find devices like this (I have 5 of the same ones) marked as an error due to invalid hostname, but I don't know how to change it or deactivate the notification.
Change the name of the device.
If you can't do so on a device itself, you could consider to create Local DNS records for those IP addresses in Pi-hole.
I don't know how to change the name of the device, it is badly named by the same pi-hole, they are switches of home automation blinds, in Alexa, the manufacturer's app or any other side they have logical names, No special characters.
EDIT: The link provided cannot open it.
If I have not misunderstood, the option of Local DNS records for it to work should I put the static IP to those devices?
It's just a quick link to the relevant section in Pi-hole. You'll find it in Local DNS > DNS Records. You will enter the name you want to call it, and the IP address. This will now be seen as the device's new hostname on the network for Pi-hole and devices using Pi-hole, replacing the actual problematic hostname that has the invalid characters.
Thanks!
