Would also like to note, having the same concern.
The notes and debug can be found on the following thread here (not to highjack) hopefully provide some substance.
Right now I am downgrading my instance to test to see if the concerns still occur.
Please let me know if I can help on this thread to provide feedback as they seem relatable 
Downgrade was successful, and so far has resolved the initial CPU concern.
Going to let it sit for 24-48 hours to be sure 6.0.4 is operational
Downgraded version:

Web: 6.0.1
FTL: 6.0.2
Updated to the following version since the initial post/report:
Core v6.0.6
FTL v6.1
Web interface v6.1
No father concerns to report.
