Help with adding blocklists

I'm trying to ad blocklists to my pihole and most forums ive looked at have said to add the blocklist to adlists.list then run

pihole -g

so i added a adlists.list file in the correct location with nano and run pihole -g and the new lists dont show up

I'm running pihole on ubuntu 20.04

This list is not used any longer since v5.0 but instead the database gravity.db is.

You can add adlists by adding them via web interface, pihole -a adlist add URL comment or via direct sql injection.
