Actual Behaviour:
the whole of youtube is blocked. not just the ads.
That is not the expected behavior. There is no reliable way to block YouTube ads with Pi-hole, since the ads are served from the same domain as the content.

the only reliable way ive found is to manually blacklist each one.. its tedious work, but overall has worked the best for me.. especially using the pihole mainly for my samsung tvs
