Guest Network not working with Pi-Hole

Hi there!

I have a question and I hope you can help. I have a home network using an Apple TimeCapsule as my DHCP server an using a Raspberry Pi running Pi-Hole. Works great!! But... if I turn on my guest network the devices cannot get internet acces when connected to the guest network. Can someone help me out?
Kind regards!

I don't know Apple equipment. I guess the issue is that your guest network devices cannot see the Pi-hole. Is that correct? (can they access the dashboard?)

In order to use the Pi-hole as DNS server, they have to be able to see it. If you cannot configure your guest network to allow devices to see the Pi-hole, it won't work and you'd probably have to either add another Pi-hole to your gust network. What could work (but I've never tested such a setup) is connecting your Pi-hole via Ethernet to the "normal" network and via WiFi to the "guest" network.

Thnx for you're reaction!
What you ask is correct. The guest network does not see the Pi-Hole. The WiFi option is a good one. How do I configure then my guest network so that is acces de Pi-Hole?
Thnx again for a quick reaction. Is it also a possibility to use a usb to ethernet connection for my guest network?

Yes, that should work equally well. You may have to change this setting on your Pi-hole dashboard:

(see Settings -> DNS)

Ok, I will try this. But (newly here) how do I make it so that I can install a firewall on the Raspberry Pi if I use this setting?

Do you mean a firewall as in IPTables?
