Starting point:
- Raspberry 2B+, OS: RaspiOS Bookworm, Unbound, SD card, no swapping. Power supply by Fritzbox USB plug (works since years)
- Pi-Hole 6.x migrated from 5.x
- Router: Fritzbox 7590, FW: 8.20. Pi-hole IP is assigned fix in routers network settings. Router works as DHCP server.
- Pi-hole adresses are the prefered DNS servers and assigned in the network by the router.
- Browsers: Firefox 140.4 ESR, Edge: latest release under Win11 pro
Progress:
- Inline update to Raspberry OS Trixie - no issue
- Update to Pi-Hole 6.2.2/6.3.2/6.3 - no issue
- Domains in block lists: ~600.000
Operation in IPv4 and IPv6 works seamlessly so far.
-
Conditional forwarding: Ok, device names are displayed in Top Clients list separately for IPv4 and IPv6 as expected
-
The response of the Pi looks faster with the latest release. No measures but a subjective impression.
