FTL.log is flooded with "Accepting new Telnet connection at socket" messages

Hi there, after updating to Pi-hole Core v5.11.1 (then up to v5.11.3), adminLTE v5.13, FTL 5.16 my FTL.log is flooded with hundreds of

[2022-07-08 08:45:07.143 23359/T23360] Accepting new telnet connection at socket 19
[2022-07-08 08:45:12.356 23359/T23360] Accepting new telnet connection at socket 20

messages

the log files have been moved correctly under /var/log/pihole, no problem with that

anyone see similar flood in their log files?

Connections to Pi-hole's telnet API are either initiated by a browser displaying Pi-hole's UI or by third-party software interacting with Pi-hole.

Would you run such third party scripts, or have a browser open with Pi-hole's UI?

fixed, pihole-FTL v5.16.1 released...
