First time setting up - Can I connect via WiFi to my router?

Hello I am attempting to set up Pi Hole for the first time on my Raspberry Pi.

I have the choice to select

(*) eth0 available
( ) wlan0 available

If I select wlan0 will PiHole work correctly or must it be connected via Ethernet?

wlan0 would work, but Pi-Hole will only listen locally.

As long as both interfaces connect to the local network, either should work. Ethernet is preferred though.
