I have installed pi hole on a raspberrypi. I locked raspberrypis ip and made it the default dns on my router.
The problem is pi hole does not block ads to external devices just only in my local pc.
Any ideas why is happening ?
After you made the DNS change in the router, did you renew the DHCP leases on all the network clients? If they are operating on the old lease, they still have the old DNS assignment.
I did a router restart and reconect all devices again.
Another wierd problem I deal with, ads are being blocked only on a opera browser, the one I configure pihole, when I use chrome or edge nothing is being blocked.
Chrome is likely using encrypted DNS (or private DNS) that bypasses Pi-hole.
