/etc/pihole/pihole.toml makes me VERY HAPPY :)

Just wanted to thank you guys for this new AWESOME config file and let you know that it makes me VERY HAPPY

I just edited the following stuff :

  • etc_dnsmasq set to TRUE to be able to create /etc/dnsmasq.d/10-MySettings.conf and the Unbound related configuration line in it :
  • Changed the Webserver IP address/Ports value to 192.168.1.3:443so instead of the default "All IPv4 and IPv6 Interfaces on Ports 80 and 443" values.

And a quick question :

Will all the settings/options in /etc/pihole/pihole.toml eventually be available via the webGUI in "All Settings" sub-menu ?

They are already there.
See below:

Did you mean etc_dnsmasq_d?

This is already the default value for almost two years:

We should probably remove this recommendation from the unbound guide. And you can remove the extra config file/option.

Thanks!

Must have somehow misunderstood the webGUI part and got excited by the way the pihole.toml is set up with all the nice commenting and everything

Thanks for the link/reference! :grimacing: :+1:
