Docker: Pihole, Query log not updating, queries not blocked

The issue I am facing:
I installed the pihole through the docker pull command.
However, my query log doesn't seem to update. The tail hole also doesn't show any queries. Moreover, some ads, I added to the blocklist still get shown (I blocked the domain with the inspect function in google developer tools). I reinstalled it multiple times, but my query log still doesn't seem to function properly.

If your Pi-hole's Query Log is not registering any requests, then likely your network isn't configured to take advantage of Pi-hole yet - see Post-Install - Pi-hole documentation.

I didn't configure my network to use the pihole. I just wanted to use my laptop as a host, and tunnel all requests through my laptop. The dashboard also registers three clients
