Docker: Error response from daemon: Ports are not available

Hi ,

I am getting an error when trying to run Pihole:
docker: Error response from daemon: Ports are not available: exposing port TCP 0.0.053 -> 0.0.0.0 listen tcp 0.0.0.53: bind: address already in use.
I am not running any other PiHole sessions on the same Mac.

Chris.

Please upload a debug log and post just the token URL that is generated after the log is uploaded by running the following command from the Pi-hole host terminal:

pihole -d

or do it through the Web interface:

Tools > Generate Debug Log

Also, please post your docker compose file.

Hi ,

Thanks for the suggestion.
I have read several blog in this forum relating to similar issue, and it was all related to Docker Desktop allocating port 53.
I have factory reset Docker Desktop and closed the application; re-deployed Pihole's latest image and launch the service.
Port 53 is allocated to Pihole and not Docker Desktop.

Cheers,
Chris.
