I have my pihole running on minikube and just recently it has suddently stopped responding to queries after a while. I can still access the admin console fine but DNS queries come back as SERVFAIL.

I have tried completely deleting all data and reinstalling the container from fresh but the symptoms are the same. I have also rebooted the host several times and checked that my firewall wasn't blocking any queries.
As mentioned it will work for a while and then suddently stop responding. I have noticed that it seems to come back for a bit if I restart the DNS resolver from the Settings Screen.
Further to that, in the query logs I can see queries being replied to with status OK but then the IP address is UNKNOWN. I use CloudFlare as my upstream.
What do you think could be the issue and how can I resolve it?
