Dnscrypt, no internet after editing dnscrypt-proxy config file

I install dnscrypt with this tutorial:
https://github.com/pi-hole/pi-hole/wiki/DNSCrypt-2.0
I test in dnsleaktest.com and i see dnscrypt works, but i forget remove the # before the server_names = ['dnscrypt.nl-ns0'] line.

I edit the dnscrypt-proxy.toml in nano and do a restart:
sudo ./dnscrypt-proxy -service restart

But now, i dont have internet anymore with dnscrypt :frowning: What i doing wrong?

Enable file logging in dnscrypt-proxy configuration file and take a look at the log file after restarting dnscrypt-proxy.

Maybe also try another server, or add more than one.

Yea, but i forget to tell you, when i do ./dnscrypt-proxy -resolve google.com without the dnscrypt ip in the pihole settings, then it works, but when i do ./dnscrypt-proxy -resolve google.com as the ip (127.0.0.1#5300) is in the settings, then i have error about resolving. And yes, same with other servers that i have tried from https://dnscrypt.info/public-servers/

Damned, why??? it works before.

-edit-
fixed with sudo reboot. Oops..

Ok, i have another question... i going to Best Privacy Tools & Software Guide in in 2025

i see dnscrypt and opennic, is it recommand to use a opennic server with dnscrypt support for a combination between dnscrypt + opennic? Maybe is opennic-bongobow (found the server in the public-servers list) a better server for privacy?

Anyone know what the blue lock icon means on Free Public DNSCrypt & DoH Servers List | DNSCrypt
dnscrypt.nl-ns0 is infected with the blue lock icon :frowning:

blue lock icon = server with DNSSEC
