DNS server not responding?

Hey there!

I previously had problems with lighttpd but have since solved them - works great.

But now I'm not even sure where to begin. I have a KUbuntu 18.04.2 server that's running pihole - it seems to be running - everything checks out.

But none of my clients see the server as a DNS server even when manually configuring the DNS or telling my router to send the IP of the linux server as the DNS. It just hangs.

Did the 'dig' test and the DNS is up and running. Did a port scan of the linux server and it shows port 53 up and listening.

I'm at a loss. What should I check next? Any information you need to see?

Is Pi-hole listening to the corect interface?

A debug token would help a bit ...
Run a pihole -d

Appreciate the response, Ramset! Thanks!

Actually, I figured it out.

When you go into the "Settings" through the Web Admin and then "DNS" then change the "Interface Listening Behavior" to "Listen on All Interfaces"

That did it for me. The DNS server now responds to all my clients on my local LAN.
