DietPI vs Pi OS Lite (Bookworm/headless)

Any advantage switching to DietPi vs my current Raspberry Pi OS Lite (bookworm/headless) installs on my Pi Zero Ws running Pi-Hole and Unbound?

I have 2 Raspberry Pi Zero W units with ethernet hats running Pi-hole and Unbound as my primary and secondary DNS servers on my network. I have the WiFi and Bluetooth disabled .. as well as a few unnecessary services like triggerhappy and avahi-daemon .. I think a couple other that I can't remember

They are both working great ..but always looking to optimize stuff. Plus I like tinkering with these things too

The only thing that would be worth the switch is the fact that the Raspberry Foundation wants you to do a new clean install when a new Debian version is released and DietPi maybe doesn't and has a nice procedure that's recommended by them to upgrade each time

And something that also bugs me is the fact that they seem to have become fans of NetPlan configurations in the latest release while I am a huge anti-fan of the horrible thing :frowning:
