DHCP configuration before enabling

Please follow the below template, it will help us to help you!

Complete Newbie so please be gentle, I have successfully installed and am running PiHole on a Raspi. I'm currently checking it out by altering the network DNS settings on my Win 10 PC, so only my device is using it. My BT Router does not allow the DNS settings to be changed so I will have to use the DHCP server in PiHole. As I have quite a few IP Lease reservations on the Router, I would like to configure the DHCP settings (range, Reservations) in advance of turning it on. This does NOT seem to be possible, am I missing something?
Thanks

Hey there, welcome. How are you liking your Pi-hole so far?

It's only when you click Save at the bottom of the page that it all goes live. You can configure the DHCP range in advance by clicking the checkbox to turn it on and entering the ranges, lease time, etc. Click Save when all done. For reservations, enter the MAC address and the desired IP from the range and click the green + button.

Don't forget to turn off the DHCP in the router too. Then one by one disconnect and reconnect your devices from the network to pick up its new address from the Pi-hole. You should see them in that page when you refresh it. For a full view of the network go to Tools > Network.

Chrislph,
Many thanks for the swift and helpful response. I’m sure that will help.

Still a bit of exploring to do around the full functionality, so far just using defaults, but very impressed with PiHole!
