Client Group Management - adding clients using IP address or subnet in CDIR notation is not possible

using newest Pi-Hole FLT v6.0.4, Web v6.0.2 and Core v6.0.5

Expected Behaviour:

Description offers: " Clients may be described either by their IP addresses (IPv4 and IPv6 are supported), IP subnets (CIDR notation, like 192.168.2.0/24 ), their MAC addresses (like 12:34:56:78:9A:BC ), "

Actual Behaviour:

It is not possible to add clients using IP address or subnet in CDIR notation.
Just a warning is presented: Warning - please enter an IP or Mac address

I presume, that the client has to be known by its MAC address even when the IP address is used to specify the client (why: client IP address was not accepted 3-4 time, then suddenly it was accepted, trying subnet in CDIR still not working).

Debug Token:

I can confirm your observation: Trying to add a new client as CIDR subnet produces a warning on my Pi-hole v6 as well.

This should work regardless of MAC addresses (and has been operational in Pi-hole v5).

Sorry to bother you with this question.
In the meantime with some try-and-error I found a "solution" aka workaround aka "user error?".
Using the TAB function or selecting another input filed, after typing the IP address, clears the address input field.
Workaround: the highlighted field below the address input field shows a copy of the entered address/subnet, if selected with mouse/touch, everything works fine.
Maybe adding a comment that a user must select the highlighted field would be helpful around this unusual behaviour.
Thank your much for your support!
