Certain websites show only white page when using pihole

Hello people,

I am using pihole on two different networks and I am experiencing a confusing problem on both sides. Certain websites (for example ups.com) are only being shown as white pages. There is no content.

My piholes are both default installations on debian vms without any individual changes. I reinstalled one of them to make sure, that there is no non-default setting.

I have whitelisted ups.com in pihole but this does not change anything. I also temporary disabled filtering via admin interface but still unchanged.

Confusing - ups.com shows in the query logs but is hat not been filtered. Still - white page only.

When I am changing my notebooks DNS server zu 9.9.9.9 or anything else, the UPS website works just fine!

Can anybody confirm this behaviour?

Expected Behaviour:

Opening ups.com shows UPS website

Actual Behaviour:

Opening ups.com only shows white page with no content (on two different sites)

I can confirm the issue. The "solution" is to whitelist "tags.tiqcdn.com", then the website www.ups.com loads... :-\

But how did you find this out????

Simply by trying to browse ww.ups.com and then checking the Pi-hole query log. The UPS domain gets resolved, but tags.tiqcdn.com showed up as blocked. With it whitelisted, the page loads, but there are still domains blocked by Pi-hole (s.go-mpulse.net, default.exp-tas.com?) that could be related to UPS, but are probably not essential for the page to work.
