Can't blacklist domain

Problem with Beta 5.0:
Cannot manually add domains to the blacklist, but I can blacklist domains through the query log shortcut.

The screenshot you showed says that the domain you want to add does already exist. The FTL log (/var/log/pihole-FTL.log) shows that the database file is locked, what is the output of

lsof /etc/pihole/gravity.db

?

also i had sudo the command if that is normal?

Yes

We are currently still experimenting with some improvements for the database handling which are to be merged into the regular beta code, soon.

Please try it already now if it fixes your issue using

pihole checkout ftl tweak/sqlite_debugging
