Can't access pi.hole admin after switching routers

I switched ISP's and am using their 2-in-1 router and removed my old router.

I've always let the router handle DHCP while the only setting I changed is the DNS to point to 192.168.50.100 which is my PiHole.

I essentially did the same thing on the new router I received and I've also changed the router's ip to what my OLD router's ip was (192.168.50.1).

I can access the pi.hole admin via IP but not url.

The only way I was able to fix this problem was by literally updating the tcp ipv4 protocal to manually point the DNS to my pihole, otherwise it wasn't automatically picking it up.

For all intents and purposes, the pihole config didn't really change since the router IP is the same and the router knows to point to the pihole.

I've repaired and reconfigured the pihole setup to see if it would resolve but no go.

Any ideas why I had to manually change my DNS on my win machine to get it to work?

Cheers.
