I have successfully redirected all traffic for google, duckduckgo, and others using the steps outlined via the Local DNS / CNAME method.
I'm trying to do the same for search.brave.com by redirecting it to safesearch.brave.com. I have the feeling Brave may not be actually supporting this right now, but before I give up on Brave, I was hoping someone that actually knows what they're doing can take a look at it to see if it is actually broken right now like I think it is.
I got the IP addresses for safesearch.brave.com by doing an nslookup on it.
safesearch.brave.com
13.227.74.9
13.227.74.33
13.227.74.96
13.227.74.99
I tried each IP address, but they all still ended up utilizing search.brave.com as I could search unsafe words that don't work in safesearch.brave.com
I'm wondering if I need to create my own A record because there are multiple IP addresses?
