Block Domain on pihole

hi, i have pihole on my ubuntu server, i have a domain example : www.acdc.com and www.acdcd.com both of domain had a same ip address example : 10.10.10.1
my manager wants to block a domain www.acdc.com because it unused,
when i list it on pihole blocklist i still can access it

What are the outputs of the following from the Pi terminal"

pihole -q -adlist -all acdc.com

grep acdc.com /var/log/pihole.log

I believe the OP is mixing up blocklist with blacklist ???
