Audited hosts still appear in Query Log

Problem with Beta 5.0:
I have added hosts to the audit log, but they still appear in the Query Log

When you add items to the audit log, they are not removed from the query log or statistics.

This is by design.

Understood, but no new entries should occur, right?
But this is the effect I am seeing.
Hosts which have been to added to audit log, new requests will show up in the Query Log
