Any harm in blocking edge.microsoft.com?

The issue I am facing:

edge.microsoft.com appears in the Top Permitted Domains of the PiHole dashboard.

The MS doc page Allow list for Microsoft Edge endpoints describes:

These endpoints manage the reading and writing of synced data, rights management for secure data, and notifying the browser when new sync data is available. Microsoft Edge sync service endpoints: https://edge.microsoft.com

As I don't have edge browser installed. However I have MS Teams installed as Progressive Web App. Would there be any harm in blocking the subdomain edge.microsoft.com ?

Details about my system:

Using PiHole v5.17.2 on Debian 12. Client device is a desktop computer Debian 12.

What I have changed since installing Pi-hole:

Added some custom adblock lists, add some regex filters.

In situations like this, if not in a critical environment, I'd add it and see what happens. If something you like breaks, remove it.

OK, let me block edge.microsoft.com to see what will happen. According to /etc/hosts file for blocking Microsoft Edge tracking domains (and more), some users have blocked it without adverse effects.
