Allow only local requests does not work (after upgrade to v6)

Hi all,
until now I was running quite long time Pihole on several v5 versions and my DNS setting for "Interface settings" was Allow only local requests . Suddenly after upgrade to v6 this setting does not work and my client comupters using Pihole as DNs server cannot translate requests. I had to switch to "Respond only to inderface". Not sure why
I am running my Pihole as Docker container. Container has IP 172.23.0.2, Ubuntu server on which docker is running is 192.168.1.0/24 network. Also all my clients using pihole as DNS are the same network.
I would say it is 1 hop and it was working until now like this - has something been changed?

Local requests means same broadcast domain. Depending on your docker configuration (default 'bridge') requests from your local network are considered 2 hops away from within your docker internal network.

Client > Docker > Pi-hole
